Uniwell Lynx software is protected by Electronic Licence Activation (ELA) or by a USB Licence Key. This tutorial will take you through the process of transferring your licence to another PC.
To transfer an ELA licence to another PC you must first deactivate the licence on your original PC.
- Go to the Windows Start Menu
- Then go to All Apps and find the Lynx Software folder
- Open the folder and find Uniwell Lynx vX Deactivate Licence
- Click on this and follow the prompts
After the licence has been deactivated you can then install and activate the software on the new PC, using the original Licence ID and Password that was supplied with your software. For assistance in doing this refer to our Getting Started Guide
If you are unable to deactivate the licence on your original PC or you have used all of the deactivations for your licence, then you can order a replacement activation from your Authorised Uniwell Lynx Reseller. There is a small fee for this service.
To transfer a USB Licence to another PC simply install the software on the new PC then attach the USB Licence Key and re-enter the licence details when prompted.
