Hash (#) symbols on reports instead of quantities or amounts

Issue

Hash (#) symbols are shown on reports instead of quantities or amounts

Cause

The quantities or amounts are too long to be displayed on the report

Solution

Choose one or more of the options below:

• Choose a smaller font size for report (Setup > Preferences > Other > Report font size)
• If it is amounts that are too long to be displayed and the currency symbol specified in your Windows Regional Settings is a multi-character symbol then you can change it to a shorter currency symbol if applicable
• If it is quantities that are too long to be displayed and the number of decimal places in quantities is more than is required then you can reduce the number of decimal places (Setup > Preferences > Other > Decimal places in quantities)
