Error 8197 when communicating with AX/HX

Issue

Error 8197 when communicating with AX/HX [An error occurred while receiving a reply line from the FTP server]

Cause

Communications are being blocked by Windows Firewall

Solution

Choose one of the options below: 

• Enable the PASV Mode option (Data > POS Terminals > Modify)
• Edit Windows Firewall settings to allow Uniwell Lynx through the firewall
